Digital Inquiry

In January 2023 the Digital Service Package proposed by the European Commission will come into effect. The European Commission describes the package as such:

"The Digital Services Package sets out a first comprehensive rulebook for the online platforms that we all depend on in our daily lives. These new rules will be applicable across the whole of the EU and will create a safer and more open digital space, grounded in respect for fundamental rights."

For our group project in the Digital culture class we intend on answering the question:

To what extent is the digital native EU resident aware of their rights concerning data treatment under the EU?

To answer this question we intend to survey around 100-200 young European residents between the ages of 18-25
